As a member of the Catholic family, thank you for taking part in the largest family reunion in North America to date.

Regardless of how or when you lost contact, the Church is saddened because you're not here. There are reasons, of course.

For you and many others, there may have been a difficulty, a harsh encounter, an unanswered question, a conflict of views or simply a disinterest that has kept you away.

But Jesus and his Church long for your return. And while no community or individual can claim to be perfect, together with Christ, we can make that journey toward perfection with confidence.
